A CDN is an acronym for Content Delivery Network. In the simplest terms, it is a distribution mechanism designed to deliver websites and content fast to consumers. It’s like having a bunch of warehouses all over the country and sometimes countries to serve the website — and the assets/content on it faster by minimizing the delivery routes and delivering the website to the visitor from the closet server. This is the premise of Amazon Prime and how they are able to deliver goods in a few days and with their logistics technology, they are able to deliver next-day shipping or same-day shipping depending on whether the product is in stock in the nearest warehouse to the customer.

N87M specializes in managing CDN infrastructure.
